openssh upgradation

Hi,
Iam planning to upgrade openssh version 2.9.9p2 to OpenSSH 3.4p1 .What all precautions I need to take before installation and does this require a reboot.??any good document on upgradation of openssh will help me.
Iam running HP-UX 11.00 on N-class server.

Did you evaluate to use software downloaded from HP site?
Following this link you can download last ssh version from HP.
http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T1471AA

You can also read notes and info about installation.
No reboot is needed.

remove the previous ssh than install the new version. it doesn't need reboot

thanks for the help..But it refers to HP secureshell .03.71.000 .
Iam planning to upgrade it to version 3.4p.
