/opt/pd/lbin/pdclientd information.

Hi all!
I verify my server HP (k370) with HP-UX 10.20.
I check there's a process /opt/pd/lbin/pdclientd
that use a lot of cpu.
What does this process?
Could I kill it without problem for my server?

Thanks in advance for your help and your support.

Regards,
Luca

Its HP's distributed print daemon/service. Its configured in SAM. If the daemon is running then someone has turned on distributed printing. Run SAM - go to printers and see what has been setup. It shouldnt use much cpu though, its possibly runaway, try stopping and starting the daemon;

/sbin/init.d/pd stop
/sbin/init.d/pd start
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
