Options for network card teaming and/or failover

What are the options for teaming a single IP over 2 interface cards on HP-UX 11.11 on a stand-a-lone server (i.e. no ServiceGuard)?

Does it provide failover only, what about load balancing? Does it come with Enterprise OE or is there separate licensing? If separate licensing what is the product name?

Yes, you can do tis using software called Auto Port Aggregation, or APA.
It can do load share/balancing, anmd also failover.
It is purchaseable software, and the docs are here:

No, APA is not included in any OE bundles as far as I know.

No you can not configure one IP for multiple cards in a system at a time without using APA. You have to purchase this product to achive this.
