has anyone seen this before, and if so, how can I resolve it? Thanks.

Hi,
this is the error related to oracle. are you trying to install oracle or you getting this error while using orcale. It seems to be that you haven't set the kernel and enironment variables for orcale.

me not a king , but as it says out of process memory , I can suggest you few options

Increase swap space usgin swapon command

If you hv enough space in vgXX

lvcreate -L "SIZE " -n swap /dev/vgXX
swapon /dev/vgXX/swap
