ORACLE 11g prerequisite checks
The DBA's are running a prerequisite check and complained that the package check failed. I found all the packages except one.
Package existence check failed for "TIBRV:7.2".
what is this TIBRV:7.2 ? Tried searching in ITRC/software download sites but cannot get a clue abt it? any suugestions who have installed ORACLE 11g..
Is the TIBRV really required for the ORACLE installation?
Thanks and regards,
Akram.

Re: ORACLE 11g prerequisite checks
No,
if orcle team running a prerequite checke and some packages check failed.
u can tell them no need of tibrv, fortran etc... for this
u can see package existence check failed for fortran also if fortrane is not there
what i am saying these two pacakges are not necessary for u oracle installation. please ignore these packages.

Which tool did you use to verify? or did you get the error during the verifications prior to installation?
there is also the RDA script (available from metalink).
