Oracle 8i support

Hi All

Is Oracle 8i R3 (8.1.7) supported under 11i? And what about R2 (8.1.6)?

I am having issues and cannot get coherent answers from the docs.

hi Marc,

The following Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition versions are listed as
Certified:

9.0.1 (9i) 64-bit
8.1.7 (8i) 64-bit
8.1.7 (8i)

The following versions are listed as EMS (Extended Maintenance Support):
8.0.6 64-bit
8.0.6
7.3.4

Both, 8.1.6 and 8.1.7 are supported on HP-UX 11.11
