Oracle 9i, 11i and precompiler issues

Anyone know anything about pre-compiler issues with Oracle and 11i. My DBA is telling me there are bugs and that Oracle may fix them one day.

There are a ton of issues with Oracle and 11i

1) Put in the December OS or Quality Pack
2) Put in these required additional patches after checking itrc for newer patches on each and every thing on this list.

3) Pick a version of Java 1.2 or 1.3 not 1.4(not certified) from http://www.hp.com/go/java
4) Install relavent java patches

5) Install java

I am not aware of any precompiler/compiler issues with Oracle any version and 11.11 I have it installed on my 11.11 boxes. For specifics on compiler prerequesites, you'll need to go through the installation guide with your DBA. If its electronic, you might want to help me enhance this little guide by cutting and pasting it into this thread.
