Oracle daemon ohasd won't start
Hello,
Oracle 11g has just been installed on an HP-UX 11.31 on an ia64 hp server rx2660.
There is an Oracle daemon that starts from boot but it is giving the following message.
Output from "/sbin/rc3.d/S960ohasd start":
----------------------------
Starting ohasd:
Failure at scls_scr_getval with code 1
Internal Error Information:
Category: -2
Operation: opendir
Location: scrsearch1
Other: cant open scr home dir scls_scr_getval
System Dependent Information: 2
CRS-4000: Command Start failed, or completed with errors
I'm wondering if someone can give some hints on how to solve this issue.
This system was ignited from another with different hardware, ia64 hp Integrity BL860c i2, which is actually a blade.
I'm not sure if the error is due to different hardware.
I would appreciate any input on this issue.
Fidel

Can you examine the script, where it pointing to ? And find out, is that the correct location ?
