Oracle Integration with Service Guard
Hi,
we have HP-UX 11iV3 HA-OE for our Integrity servers. We have created a Test Package which fails over to other node as well. I would like to know, do we need to purchase some extra-license for its service guard integration with Oracle. Its not RAC. Just a Oracle DB 10.2.0.4.

Re: Oracle Integration with Service Guard
Not necessary, you can use just ServiceGuard package to failover package in normal way. Your package scripts (start and shutdown) will help to start/stop oracle once you have file system muonted from cluster aware VG/LVs
Good luck,

Re: Oracle Integration with Service Guard
You should have the Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit package installed if you have HA-OE
Look in /opt/cmcluster/toolkit
There will be an Oracle toolkit to use for integraing Oracle into Serviceguard
