Oracle prosseses

Hi friends. When I shutdown my instance started by user oracle, some of processes of this user still active. Is anybody know what is wrong with my OS?

Hi,
what are the names of these processes?
You may still have things like emagent, tnslsr, perl, java, ocssd.bin running.

Re: Oracle prosseses

Hi,
these are remote connections (possibly dead ??)

See

and
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=79786

As the DB is down, they should be ok to kill.

Re: Oracle prosseses

Hi,

"LOCAL=NO" tells you that they are remote connections. You should be able to kill them without a problem.
