OS Installation hold because of Multiple console output devices
Hi Everyone,
I met a question when install OS on rx2600. When I boot from the DVD, the installation is hold as below. after waiting for tens minutes. It still shows as the same...
WARNING: Multiple console output devices are configured. If this message
remains on the screen for more than a few minutes, then this is not the
device in use by HP-UX as the console output device. If you would like this
device to be the one used by HP-UX as the console output device, reboot and
use the EFI boot manager or the EFI 'conconfig' command to select this device
and deconfigure the others.
================================================================================
Launching :IINSTALL
SIZE: Text:62849K + Data:24311K + BSS:31257K = Total:118418K
So I reboot and get into the EFI boot manager, and choose "select active console output deivces"
But how can I select these options. I cannot figure out which can I choose?

With my weak psychic powers, I can't guess what you're using for a
console on this system.
Your device list looks like mine. Around here, I use Telnet to talk
to the iLO management processor, and I use one of the
Acpi(HWP0002,700)/Pci(1|1)/Uart(9600 N81)/VenMsg()
devices. (Specifically, the "Vt100" one. I don't remember why I picked
"Vt100" instead of "Vt100+", but I was using a VMS DECterm terminal
emulator then, so perhaps it worked better for me than the "Vt100+" did
with that terminal emulator.)
It's been years since I configured this system, and I don't remember
if there was a manual which explained which device is which. Knowing
nothing, my guess would be that the
Acpi(PNP0501,0)/Uart(9600 N81)/VenMsg()
devices might be a real 9-pin serial port, and the
Acpi(HWP0002,700)/Pci(2|0)
might be a workstation keyboard+graphics set. (When I highlight that
one, I see a message, "Only one VGA device can be selected at a time.",
which seems consistent with my keyboard+graphics guess.)
I'd guess that you should set the Input and Error devices, too.
