OS partitions are getting almost 100%
Hello,
My hp-ux node is getting almost 100% full on /, /opt, /usr. Previous admin did a default installation and now things are getting scary. Please help which log file should be trmmed. Will the > file-name method to trim the big files harm the system? I have huge files in syslog and mail directories. Please also mention other possible files to trim.
Thanks..

Probably not. Do you need to back them up?
Is /var getting full too?
Have you run cleanup(1m) for superseded patches that are in /var/adm/sw/?
