Dear All

I have rp3440 machine and HP-UX 11.23,
i need HP-UX 11.11 pls any one help me how convert to V1

There is nothing like converting higher to lower version of OS. To have the lower version of OS , you have to cold install or ignite it.

- (You may want to keep a backup of 11.23 version make_tape_recovery before proceeding, if reqd)

1. Take the 11.11 CD Media.
2. Put into the drive.
3. Boot from the CD from PDC.
4. Follow the hp-ux installation instructions.
5. Complete 11.11 installation.

or

If you have Ignite make_tape_recovery tape of 11.11 similar system , you can restore it by booting from the tape.

The installation flow chart and steps, typically it takes 2 to 3 hours.

You can cold install using hp-ux 11i v1 media, including the operating system, a selected operating environment (OE) bundle, network drivers, CDE language bundle, diagnostics, and required patches from the Support Plus CD.
