OS volume group Size required for HP-UX 11.11
What is the abosolure minimum OS Volume Group Disk size needed for HP-UX 11.11 ?
We are planning to do inplace upgrade HP-UX 11.0 to HP-UX 11.11 on a T600 HP Server which has a OS Volume group size as 4 GB. We are checking to see if we have to increase the OS Volume Group disk size to 9 GB before we upgrade the OS to HP-UX 11.11 or if the 4 GB should suffice in the DEVELOPMENT machine as the OS Volume Disk size for HP-UX 11.11.
Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Srinivas

Re: OS volume group Size required for HP-UX 11.11
Hi srinivas,
4gb may not be sufficent if you are going to install softwares / patches in future.
I had seen syslog.olg of size 2gb in some of our systems. so i am recommending to go for 9GB Disk.
