OV Manager & a DTC
Shoreline Community College is looking into purchasing
a couple of DTC16RX Routable Communications Server. After review the HP
technical data on the equipment,
the purchase of the DTC16RX Manage software needs to be
purchase in order to manage the DTC. The problem here at Shoreline is that the
HP OpenView Network Node Manager is install on a NT platform and not a UX based
as documented in tech data. The OV manager is installed on a HP9000/800 but
it's that problem of the operating system.
Has anyone got any ideas.
Do HP have plans to see that OV will perform with NT?
Any special configuration of OV so that the software
will perform on a NT platform?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: OV Manager & a DTC
As far as I am aware the DTC16RX can only be managed from a HPUX host, there
are no plans to enable it to be managed from OV DTC Manager.
