Package monitoring script takes 98% of CPU
Dear All,
We have Websphere application running in a 2 node cluster. The package monitoring websphere toolkit is taking 98% of CPU usage. Can u share ur experiences if somebody has faced this issue earlier.I cant kill the monitor as that will bring down the package. Is it a Patch issue??
Server OS: 11i v2
SG version:11.16
99.20 1816 root /usr/bin/sh /etc/cmcluster/pkg/WOSPRDWS/toolkit.sh monitor
Rgds

Re: Package monitoring script takes 98% of CPU
Thanks Peter,
But the problem discussed in the thread is about Websphere using 100% CPU.But in my case the monitoring script is taking the toll.

Re: Package monitoring script takes 98% of CPU
Marvik,
I have seen some issues with Websphere comsuming a lot of cpu but that was in 11.11, sometimes it was a patching issue, other times a developer issue and sometimes IBM used to deliver the solution to their product.
Never seen a problem in 11.23, my recommendation is to open a case with HP and let their people take a look at it.
Regards,
Jaime.
