Packaging Applications on CD Writer
Does anyone out there have experience packaging an application program for HP-UX 10.2 onto a CD Writer? What are the steps required to perform this task? Thank you all in advance for your responses.

Re: Packaging Applications on CD Writer
Well, as a cd-writer isn't a supported thing under hp-ux it's not straightforward.
Firstly (assuming you want to burn the CD under hp-ux), you'll need a scsi cd-writer and some software to drive it (see
http://www.fokus.gmd.de/research/cc/glone/employees/joerg.schilling/private/cdrecord.html ) and 'mkisofs' which is linked to from there.
Then you need to create the isofs and mount that using the loopback driver. At that point,it's just simple swpackage commands, followed by cdrecord.
There are commercial applications available too
