Re: panic

You analyzed the dump?

See attachment.

I agree on the CPU assessment.

Re: panic

hi,

I think would be better you open a HW case on HP, so they can analyse the pim of your machine and tell you what happened.

Re: panic

HPMC=High Priority Machine check

And since it shows HPMC on CPU1 as per crash dump, log a hardware case to HP or vendor providing srevices on behalf of HP.

Information attached by steve is vry useful..

Re: panic

Tarek,
do you read posts? Now is the third time I'm asking for either 'pim' command output or /var/adm/tombstones/ts99 file.
Output of crashinfo DO NOT point to CPU1. It says that CPU1 initiated HPMC. And nothing more. If you all will look into crashinfo output contents you will see

Note: This appears to be a BUS check hpmc. BUS Checks are often caused by hardware problems, but there are many software causes as well. To progress a BUS Check HPMC you will normally need to obtain the hardware TOMBSTONE and analyse it

Eugeny. my client was on holiday (Easter holiday), this is why I wasn't able to send you the tombstones file. I will try and send it today. Thank you once more.
