passwd change, memory fault .

I am booting into single user mode to change my passwd ( the one that I forgot to change when I convert to trusted mode ).
change the tcb file to :u_pwd=:\

now i typed passwd, everything goes fine until the end.
System tells that the file was unchanged.
It gives an error about memory fault ( coredump ).

Has anybody seen this before?

Jaime.

Re: passwd change, memory fault .

Shalom Jaime,

Can you show the entire u_pwd line ??
You may have gotten one too many characters with your delete.

You might want to convert back to non-trusted, fix your password issue and then convert back to trusted.

Re: passwd change, memory fault .

Steven, that's a good idea, I will get into single user mode and unconvert the system, and see if I can fix the issue.

I will post the solution if any :-)

jaime.
