Patch Bundle installation fails
I have downloaded the set of patches with their dependencies from hp site and created the bundle using the script that came with the patches. While creating the bundle, the swagnet.log shows warnings on many lines, and when i try to install the bundle using swinstall i get the error:
The "preinstall" script for "PHKL_37122" failed (exit code ¦
¦ ¦ "1"). The script location was ¦
¦ ¦ "/var/tmp/BAAa03591/catalog/PHKL_37122/pfiles/preinstall". ¦

¦ ¦ cannot proceed until the problem is fixed. Check the above ¦
¦ ¦ output from the script for further details. ¦
¦ ¦ NOTE: The Install Phase has suspended. Check the above output for ¦
¦ ¦ reasons.
also i tried to install the patch one by one and still the same error.

Re: Patch Bundle installation fails
All that preinstall file seems to be doing is removing the new manpage. I suppose it can also get that error if /usr/lbin/sw/control_utils is missing.
What kind of warnings were in swagent.log?
