Patch Bundle to install Secure Path 3.0D into an Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA5000 or EVA3000) envi
Hi,
Please find below the SW advisories published by HP regarding the HP-UX patches that should be installed along with the Secure Path 3.0D into an Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA5000 or EVA3000) environment.
However, i cannot find the patch bundle required to perform the installation of Secure Path 3.0D without having a performance problem due to the LVM patch PHKL_29979.
Please advise where i can find such bundle.
" You have received this software advisory as part of the HP StorageWorks Secure Path for HP-UX
product update. This advisory is only for those customers who are installing Secure Path
3.0D into an Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA5000 or EVA3000) environment.
During ongoing reliability testing, a performance issue was identified in a required HP-UX 11.11
LVM patch, PHKL_29979, and it was immediately pulled from distribution. The updated patches
are currently expected to be available in the April â 04 time frame. This HPUX patch will be
available through your Account Support Engineer (ASE) or Customer Engineer (CE).
This performance issue is isolated to the combination of HPUX 11.11, PHKL_29979, and
SecurePath 3.0D; no other products are affected.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We regret any inconvenience this may
cause and ask you to contact your HP representative if you have any questions or concer
