Patch installation issue with Oracle 10 Installation

Hi,

I am trying to install Oracle 10 on HP-UX 11.23 (Itanium-ia64) system. It is asking me to install the following three patches.
Checking for PHSS_33278; found Not found. Failed <<<<
Checking for PHSS_33279; found Not found. Failed <<<<
Checking for PHSS_33277; found Not found. Failed <<<<
Checking for PHSS_33279; found Not found. Failed <<<<

When I m trying to install the patches I m getting some error message. Pls see the attaches txt file. Need you help on the same.

This issue comes up once a week at least!

Basically the 10g installer patch check routine assumes you are going to install and use every single feature of 10g, regardless of what you actually plan to use.

One item you might want to use is the Oracle ProC/C++ software to write your own Oracle based applications - well then Oracle assumes you have the HP ANSI C or C++ compiler installed and you must need some patches for it.

Of course you don't have that installed (and I expect don't want to write ProC/C++ applications), so you can safely ignore the warnings and proceed with the installation.
