Patch PHKL_27096 problem

Hi,
I installed a lot of patches:
- GOLDAPPS11i_B.11.11.0412.5;
- GOLDBASE11i_B.11.11.0412.5;
- HWEnable11i_B.11.11.0412.5;
- And also some 24 more patches;

The installation did work oke.

After the instaal I did run the HP "check_patches" procedure.

The procedure give me the following message:
============================ Patch Fileset States ============================

* Determining if all patch filesets are in the configured state.

NOTE: One or more patch filesets are in the installed state, but
they do NOT include a configure script. Since these patch
filesets do not include a configure script, there is no
difference between the installed or configured state.

The patch filesets in this condition are:

PHKL_27096.CORE2-KRN

If you prefer to have these patch filesets in the configured
state as opposed to the installed state, they can be
configured with swconfig(1M), for example:

swconfig PHKL_27096.CORE2-KRN

or to configure all the filesets in a patch:

swconfig PHKL_27096

-----------------------------------------------
After reading this I did a "swconfig PHKL_27096.CORE2-KRN" but the same message still come's back?

What can I do to correct this?

Greetings Co.

hi,

see the following link.
http://www.informatik.uni-frankfurt.de/RBI/hp-service/patches/s700_800/11.X/PHKL_30607.txt

i think it is better to reinstall the PHKL_27096 patch or install its superceding patch PHKL_30607 .

Hi bhavin,

Supperseded patch PHKL_30607 is already installed!

Well that's the reason why you are unable to configure it. The swconfig commands rejects to configure filesets that are already superseded.

The patch does not have any confgure script anyway... so you may simply flip the state for cosmetic reasons:

# swmodify -a state=configured PHKL_27096.CORE2-KRN
