Patch PHSS_24303 Supersession

Hello,
I want to know whether the patch PHSS_24303 has been superseded with a new one and what is the new patch ID.
any help is appreciated.

There is a more recent patch: PHSS_35380.

You have the specific answer in this case.

To answer the question for *any* patch, simply specify the patch (e.g. PHSS_24303) in the "find a specific patch" selection box on the ITRC Patch Database main page:

I just noticed, once you get to a specific patch, there is this link at the top right:

but I have another question, can I install the most recent patch PHSS_35380 on HP11.11 platform?
Because I have found in another threads the following:
PHSS_24304 Linker patch is required for HP-UX 11.11 (11i)
PHSS_24303 Linker patch is required for HP-UX 11.00

No, PHSS_35380 is for 11.00. PHSS_35383 is for 11.11. Just use that patchTree.do link to find that out.

PHSS_35383 is the most recent and is the recommended patch.

I've never seen that feature link and its very, very nice! I've always followed the 'supersedes' hyperlink once I brought up the patch details.

Either (1) I'm blind; (2) the link you cite is available only to HP folks because I can't find it :-)

Well, since neither Pete nor I can see it, I have concluded that you have special privileges that we don't have ;-).

Yes, your URL did work for the specific patch in question. I found that I could bookmark the bogus link below and thereby gain access to the function at any time (ITRC login required, of course):

http://www.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchTree.do?patchid=PHCO_12345

Thanks for the verification, Dennis. As I noted, above, one can construct (and bookmark) a URL that does offer the tree, so for now I've done that.
