Hello,
When i install patch 34350:
"The patch fileset "PHSS_34350.C,r=1.0" may only be installed upon a previously installed base fileset. The specification for this base fileset is "C-ANSI-C.C,fr=C.06.05,v=HP". Since
there is no fileset on the target or selected from the source which matches this specification, fileset "PHSS_34350.C,r=1.0"
will be excluded." , and not continue to install. Please help me.

Hi,
and welcome to the forums!

You are trying to install a patch which fixes a problem based on the ANSI-C compiler (version 6.5).
However it appears you do not have the compiler installed (swlist to check).
The machine is trying to tell you, that you do not need the patch, as you don't have the product.

Shalom,

swlist -l product | grep -i ansi

This will tell you if the Ansi C compiler, which is add in that you have to pay for is installed.

I agree with Peter and think its not installed.

As Peter mentioned you can't install A.06.07 unless you have the base release of A.06.05 from the application CD.
