Patches after install of 11.11 Base O/S

What cumulative patches do I have to install after doing a fresh install of the 11.11 32-bit base O/S on an HP-Server 9000 (800 series)?

Hi Brando,

You can use the latest support plus CD. This will have all the patches repleased till date for that version. Or you can use the cpm patch analysis to find out the patches applicable for your configuration, then download them as a single bundle and install them. Look at the faq in the link for more info on cpm.

Install them all, the analysis phase will take care of what needs to be excluded, etc,etc. You might want to double check if you got the latest Support Plus Bundle, if not download 'em from ..

Thanks for the reply, however, the link for the CPM analysis FAQ does not work.

Can you verify or is there another way I can get the info on CPM analysis?

Follow the link below, download and install the Hardware Enablement bundle (HWE) and the Quality Pack (QPK). Doing this will provide you most complete updates with the most throughly tested (by HP) bundles:

I think you should hp support contract to access that. Do you have hp support contract. If you are accessing this site from europe-itrc, substitute europe-support in place of us-support.

Hi (again) Brando:

I would be remiss if I didn't specifically urge you to also download and install the STM bundle:

By applying the HWE, QPK and DIAGNOSTICS bundles (as suggested in this and my previous post, above) you will have a very sound, up-to-date installation.
