Re: Patches/Bundles

"swlist" on it's own is quite useful or you can do something like "swlist -l patch" for a horrific amount of stuff flying up your screen.

Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

Re: Patches/Bundles

Hi,

swlist -l

where type is bundle, product, fileset, file, patch, depot etc.,

man 'swlist' will give you more information.

Re: Patches/Bundles

Hey Stuart,
You can use swlist by itself to see all patches installed:
# swlist

Also, to check for a certain patch:
# swlist |grep

Or, you can use:
# swlist -a revision -l

Re: Patches/Bundles

For ease, I'd start with:

swlist -l

This lets you look at whats installed via a keyboard interface. You can click in for details when needed.

The other commmands posted are a little more advanced and frankly, your question is pretty broad.
