Patches for 10.20
Does anyone know which patches are required for installing 18Gb disks (A5286A) into a HA attached to a D380 with HP-UX 10.20 with accumulative patch kit 45 (I know its old patch kit but I do plan to install the September 2001 one soon but not before the disks are installed).
Many thanks in advance, Graeme.

Re: Patches for 10.20
The best thing to do is to install the Sept 2001, before you start, but if you wish not to use this method:
Select "Maintenance and Support"
Under "Patching" select "customized patch bundles (custom patch manager)"
Then forloow the instructions under " 1. Collect Configurations"
then "2. Perform Patch Analysis"

Re: Patches for 10.20
Thanks Harry, this one has been dropped on me from up high, and I have to do it tomorrow night. I wont have time to install the Sept2001 patches before hand, since there are four of these disks and a lot of data moving around to be done. Its going to be a long enough night anyway so I will certainly do your method instead.
Again, many thanks, Graeme.

Re: Patches for 10.20
Be careful though, make sure you only select the ones you need, and then reverify that they will work together (its the patch analysis). Plus it will "bundle" them up for you into one sweet install!
