Hello all,
I have 2 N-4000 servers that have patches in an installed, not configured state. I ran swconfig \* and it says:
"PHKL_18543.CORE2-KRN,fr=*,fa=HP-UX_B.11.00_32,v=HP" for
fileset "PHKL_21989.CORE2-KRN,l=/,r=1.0" cannot be
successfully resolved.
Now... I ran swlist -l fileset -a state -a patch_state, and PHKL_18543.CORE2-KRN is in a configured/applied state. So it's really there. Why would swconfig say cannot be successfully resolved? What am I missing here?

Re: Patches in installed state.
Craig,
Three of those are not installed, good call.
How can that be, if 18543 is dependent on them?
Thats odd.

Re: Patches in installed state.
You could have their superceeding patches installed, thus allowing 18543 to be installed. I would look at those three missing patches to see if you have a newer version installed, if not that may be your problem. If they have a newer version installed you may have rewarded me a little to quickly...
