Patches Simple Question
I have a doubt....... when I downloading a patch, sometime I see "Critical Fix"; but what it means "critical Fix"?
It not good, right?

Another could be where there is a potential corruption in a previously released kernel or network patch where under a certain circumstance your system could panic or a network failure could be experienced.

normally A patch will be considered critical only if it fixes a critical problem.
However when loading patches attention should be paid to all warnings dependencies and special installation instructions.

If the patch is critical it fixes a problem.
Nobody can guarantee withh 100% certainty that it fixes all problems.It fixes known problems.
