pb to build Install cdrom whith IGNITE

hello,

I have got a problem to burn HFS bootable CDROM. I use Ignite technologie to create HFS image.
I use cdwrite or cdrecord (last version)to burn CDRM
The cdrom is ok ( mount ok , boot ok) but if i want to check the
cdrom whith a unix cksum or dd , there is an I/O error on the last
block)
If i copy this master whith Nero on windows 98 , cksum an dd
function normaly and the cdrom is ok (mount ok , boot ok)
With HFS non bootable CDROM, there is no problem.
I think there is a pb with the lif area .

Do you know this problem ?

Re: pb to build Install cdrom whith IGNITE

I had a problem last month with ignite and the LIF area. The tape created fine, and the system would boot from the tape (Thank God!) but when we tried to create a bootable disk from the tape the LIF area would be corrupt. I haven't gotten a final answer yet from the consultant and HP why we had that problem and if I should bother to keep doing recovery tape updates. The answer at the time from HP was that it was a known problem, and in my circumstances we had to reinstall the system from CD, the recovery tape was just trash.
If you can't face the facts, change them!
