pb with SAM

Hi,

On my HP-UX 10.20 system, when i launched sam and go to "Accounts for Users and Groups" then "Users", I got the following message :

/usr/lib/dld.sl : unresolved symbol : dcnodes(code) from /usr/sam/lbin/samx

But nothing special was done on this host. Can you help me ?

Thanks in advance !

Re: pb with SAM

Make sure that you have this patch loaded. It has many fixes in it. I'm sure yours is one of them.

s700_800 10.20 Cumulative SAM/ObAM Patch(PHCO_22268)

This will not require a reboot.

Anyone for a Mutiny ?

Re: pb with SAM

thanks folks, but that does not help me ...

Two weeks ago, there was no matter at all. NFS is activated from 3 years.

Now, the problem is that 2 accounts are desactivated but I don't know how reactivate them without SAM ...

HELP !!!

Re: pb with SAM

Hi,

Is the state of all patches "configured"

Use:
# swlist -l fileset -a state|grep -i inst

Re: pb with SAM

hi,
try swapping the current /etc/passwd file with backup copy . because sam_exec user entry in the current passwd file might be somewhere wrong.

Re: pb with SAM

well ...

Clemens : I think that paths are not important. There is no patch PHCO_22268 on my HP-UX system and I have only one server wrong ...

U.SivaKumar : I try what you suggested, but that change nothing ...

Re: pb with SAM

Hi,

Do you have a core file which we can look at?
We need to find out where the cnodes came from .
