PCI card location in 8420 server
hi team,
How to identify the Physical slot location of of the device from ioscan output in 8420 server. The following hardware address show the fc combo adapter, how to identify its physical slot location from its hardware address.
fc 1 2/0/10/1/0/4/0 fcd CLAIMED INTERFACE HP A9784-60002
PCI/PCI-X Fibre Channel FC/GigE Combo Adapter (FC Port 1).

depending on your OS version, use either rad -q or olrad -q
This prints out a table showing the slot number relevant to the OS hardware path
