PCI-mux modem device files
I used SAM to create a modem on a PCI-Mux that has a fan-out cable. (OS=11.00/64 bit, A500) Ioscan shows the device files under -funC tty. Stty, emux_stty and emux_diag 'cannot find or open file'. 'cu', either direct or using the 'ca/cu' devices, hangs, kermit hangs.
/etc/uucp/devices, dialers and systems are configured, inittab has uugetty process. Lssf shows correct configuration. Mux is working - printer and direct ports are functional. (Although printer is overflowing its buffer.)Modem works on a PC.
Think it may be the cable, but can't seem to find a part number on the HP site to order. (Although we've tried several different pin-outs ourselves) Cable is 10 pin RJ45 to DB-25.
I'd love the part number for the cable, and any other thoughts on making the modem work. We're supposed to bring the machine into production in a week.
Thanks.

Re: PCI-mux modem device files
I saw somewhere that for the RJ45 you need an adapter J2489A and cable 40233A.
