PDC CHASSIS Codes
I am booting an older B132L (HP-UX 10.20) and at random spots during the boot, I am seeing the following message:
PDC CHASSIS: State=FAULT Code=BC00
The boot process never reaches the point where the RC scripts begin to execute. I'm just looking for the meaning of that message. I found an older discussion post from 2001 "Where can I look up PDC codes?", but being that old, the links are broken.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

Re: PDC CHASSIS Codes
Hi Brian,
Being an OLDER workstation , we no longer have any documents available internally.
However, I found an external Service guide available with PDC codes for this workstation.
I looked out for "BC00" , but couldn't find it. You may look for other chassis codes that you see along with "BC00" and see if it helps to isolate the problem.
External link : http://ftp.parisc-linux.org/docs/platforms/b1xx-service.pdf
Thanks.

Hi Brian,
Any luck in isolating the fault using the chassis codes available in the guide?
Let me know.
Thanks
