Re: pdf file for CSA exam needed
Good that you want to give CSA paper.
A beginner like you should think of giving paper only if you know HP-UX very well.
No single pdf file can help you to prepare
for the paper.
I would recommend Rafeeq Rahman book for thorough preparation.
I am reading Student workbook along with Rahman book.
Try to get these books somehow...
Rahman book is costly & rarely available in a country like yours.
Try to get Student workbook[H3064S & H3065S].
If you are working on HP-UX ,its an added advantage to you.
Best wishes & regards

Re: pdf file for CSA exam needed
You can use the new HPUX CSA Official Study Guide and Desk Reference book Second Edition from Rafeed Ur Rehman. ISBN no: 0-13-144854-4
This book is for new HPUX CSA exam (HP0-091)
I found this book is very useful and i'm preparing to take the exam soon.

Re: pdf file for CSA exam needed
Try not to think of it as an expense, but rather as an investment. I took my exam 2 years ago, and purchased my book then. I use it constantly as my memory is poor.
You might consider asking a friend to invest in the book with you, then you can both study and both pass the exam! Its much easier having someone to help you study. It has practice questions at the end of each chapter.
The reason that the books don't exist in PDF form is that the author worked very hard to write the book, and deserves the pittance that he gets from royalties. I don't know what Rehman gets, but a good friend of mine has published 7 highly technical books on network routing theory. His royalties on these last year would not purchase a cup of tea anywhere in the continental USA ($0.27).
Personally, I have more than 40 technical books in my library. I'm not bragging, rather I'm stating that I'm so stupid that I have to look at these frequently. Sadly, many of them are badly out of date, but even the old ones still have value. I purchase 6-10 books per year. They are expensive, but even more expensive is not knowing what I need to know. Technical knowledge ages quickly. If I do not learn new things constantly I will soon be hopelessly out of work. So books are an investment in myself, my family, and my career. You should think of them the same way.
