some of the newer PDFs from HP are only readable/visible with the newer versions of the Acrobat Reader, like 4.05 or even 5.0, so you may have to upgrade your read to a newer one...

there are already some PDF's on docs.hp.com wich are only readable with Acrobat Reader 5.x.
There is no Reader 5.x available for HP-UX jet. See also thread http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xa0c53a7b3682d611abdb0090277a778c,00.html
So you can copy your PDF's to a system which has Reader 5.x installed (e.g. Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOS). Or perhaps GhostView is already able to view them.
Check the porting center http://hpux.asknet.de for the latest version.
