Performance + Hardware suted for Oracle 10 g
Hi all,
I am in trade study for choosing OS and hardware for my project. I Just want to know for oracle 10G performance and processor which server and os is best with reason and details.
ANd also for WebSphere Portal Server..
I would appreciate if you are give full details.

Hi,
Without any mention of the type of application or environment under which the database would be operating, it is quite difficult to make a proper sizing.
Is it high-end scientific, OLTP or DSS?
Unless, you define the different contexts, it will be difficult for us to contribute to this thread.

Oracle runs great under HP-UX. The most expensive hardware is the best.
