Performance improvement patches?
With everything that's out there, what's the best way to take a best-guess at gathering up the most recent HP-UX (10.20, possibly also 11.00) performance improvement patches? Is there an efficient way to single-out just those that improve performance? And by performance, I mean things like I/O, network, kernal, and other patches that might improve system efficiency in general. This, as opposed to putting on the latest General Release patch bundles and hoping for the best. I'm kinda new at this so forgive me if there's a real easy way to do it already, or if it's one of those things that is more trouble than it's worth.
Thanks, Mike M.

Re: Performance improvement patches?
Customer Patch Manager
-run cpm_collect.sh on the target system
-put the results on ITRC
-generate a list of patches
-in the lower patch selection area, enter the keyword performance.
Effectively, you've searched current candidate patches for ones that reference performance in their description.

Re: Performance improvement patches?
Note: Unfortunately, this method will also find patches for performance monitors, etc. as well. (But it's better than nothing ;-) ).
