I have been using sar utility to monitoring performance related issue from last 10 days. But,I can't understand what is the meaning of output after running different sar command like sar -u 2 100,sar -v 2 100,sar -b 2 100,sar -d 2 100,vmstat 2 100 etc.
Where should I get this information? It would be highly obliged if someone send some attachment.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Performance notes.
"man sar" would be a good place to start.
Other usefvull commands if you have it on the machine would be "vmstat" and glance( if licensed) and gpm(if licensed). Gpm is a graphical application though.
If you have purchased glance or gpm or measureware, go look under /opt/perf/paperdocs ( deeper in it depending on what you have) for some nice explanations of general HPUX performance metrics and hopw to interpret them.

Re: Performance notes.
'man sar' explains you each and everything on sar options.
If you want a better understanding, request for an evaluation copy of 'sarcheck' at sarcheck.com.
I can suggest you to look at Glance+ (which is very desired to have atleast on HP systems) but 'sarcheck' output can explain you the state of the system in 'plain English'.
