Perl 5.6.1 coredump with on "op/grent" during "make test"

Perl 5.6.1 coredump with on "op/grent" during "make test"

Hi,

I download'ed Perl 5.6.1 source from www.perl.com. During "make test" a coredump was generated for the following test:

op/grent

Has anyone came across this and perhaps shed me light on how to fix it please?

P.S. I knew the binary form is available but for some reason I would prefer to do a source compilation on my own.

Hi, Can you tell me how you fixed this yourself? I have the same error on my make test - I got a core dump for op/grent and op/pwent.

What is the solution/procedure to get past this error.
