Perl 5.8 install problems
for all of the filesets. Yet, if I do an swlist on the depot, they show up fine. Any suggestions? I've tried redownloading it several times.

Re: Perl 5.8 install problems
Can you post the error messages from your /var/adm/sw/swagent.log?.

Re: Perl 5.8 install problems
FWIW if the depot still does not meet your needs, you can also fetch more recent perl precompiled binaries from my site for 10.20, 11.00, and 11.11 (11i), but they are not depots, but compressed archives. These include DBI and several other useful modules.
Specifications and installation instructions are on the site too
My HP ITRC site pages can be found at
Singapore https://www.beepz.com/personal/merijn/
Rotterdam http://www.cmve.net/~merijn/
Seattle http://ww.hpux.ws/merijn/
Singapore might be unreachable for another day or two, because the router broke down, and Seattle might be hampering for a day or two because it is in the middle of a machine move
Enjoy, have FUN! H.Merijn
