Perl 5 and HPUX 11.0

I've downloaded the version we need (Perl 5.005_03). gunzip-ped it. swinstalled it.

NOW perl -V sez:
Characteristics of this binary (from libperl):
Built under hpux
Compiled at Aug 5 1999 14:13:17
@INC:
/opt/perl5/lib/5.00503/PA-RISC1.1
/opt/perl5/lib/5.00503
/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.005/PA-RISC1.1
/opt/perl5/lib/site_perl/5.005

I NEED THE PA-RISC2.0 libraries. I tar-ed 'em from another system, but have NO IDEA how to re-complile with the newer version.
HELP!!!!

If you cant find a PA-RISC 2 verison of Perl 5 at the software porting centre then you will need to download the source for Perl and compile it up yourself.

Check the downloads at; http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Languages/perl-5.6.0/

If theyre not PA-RICS 2 then download the source and compile it up. You will probably need a full HP ANSI-C or gnu CC compiler. If still no good try the latest Perl source downloads from; http://www.perl.com/CPAN/src/
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...
