Perl Upgrade/Apache
Hi,
I've upgraded my perl instalation to version 5.8.8 and now I can't start apache, the error is:
[Wed May 30 15:10:26 2007] [error] Can't locate strict.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64 /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl/lib/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64 /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl/lib/5.8.3 /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl/lib /opt/perl_64/lib/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64 /opt/perl_64/lib/5.8.3 /opt/perl_64/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64 /opt/perl_64/lib/site_perl/5.8.3 /opt/perl_64/lib/site_perl . /opt/hpws/apache/ /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl) at /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64/ModPerl/Registry.pm line 17.\nBEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /opt/hpws/apache/lib/perl/lib/site_perl/5.8.3/IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi-LP64/ModPerl/Registry.pm line 17.\nCompilation failed in require at (eval 2) line 3.\n
[Wed May 30 15:10:26 2007] [error] Can't load Perl module ModPerl::Registry for server loopback:80, exiting...
The problem is that the @INC is refering to the old perl version, but this only occurs in Apache, because in perl is correct:

Re: Perl Upgrade/Apache
Check the Apache configuration, probably is still using the old perl module.
LoadModule perl_module modules/mod_perl.so
Ensure that mod_perl.so is from your updated installation.
