pfs_mount
I have an Oracle installation Cd and trying to mount it using pfs-mount cmd, already started pfsd and pfs_mount commands but i get errors:
NFS server not responding
after server restarts, i get: device /dev/dsk/c#t#d# [cdrom device file]not responding
i have PFS patch installed...
any other ideas where i can look for possible answers?
Thanks very much for all the help that will be coming.... ;-)

Re: pfs_mount
Remove and clean your CD or replace it with a nice copy and this will fix your problem. The Oracle metalink confirmed this for us.

Re: pfs_mount
Try this command, which will provide the long file names that the application may need.
mount -F cdfs -o cdcase /dev/dev/cf_dev_file /mount_point
Share and Enjoy! Ian
