'netstat -m' gives
"4294967270 mapped pages in use".
I kept getting this value reported back for
over five hours, until I rebooted.
Does the patch fix this erroneous reporting,
or the actual panic condition itself?
Is there a way to zero in on the socket in use,
or find out which processes are in contention
for it?
System:
HP-UX B.10.20 B 9000/879

SolutionThis entry in the information about the patch indicates that it is a symptom of the patch, not fixed by it.
( SR number: 5003294777 )
netstat -m occasionally reports unbelievable
statistics, e.g.: "4294967270 mapped pages in use"
There are some newer patches, PHNE_19936 and PHNE_22507 which should solve your problem.
Good Luck,
C
