PHSS_31071
There are two patches PHSS_31071 and PHSS_31073 which depend of each other. I have to install both of them. When I try to install PHSS_31071 I receive next message “please install PHSS_31073 first”, and when I try to install PHSS_31073 I receive next message “please install PHSS_31071 first”. Please help me to resolve this situation.

Re: PHSS_31071
You should have a file on your box called create_depot_hp-ux_11, probably in /var/adm/sw. Put the names of the two patches into that file and run it. It will create a depot file containing both patches.

Re: PHSS_31071
Both patches are already replaced by newer versions. See the patch database on http://www.itrc.com for more info.
Anyway, use swcopy to create a depot containing both patches and install hem together.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Or when you download both patches from the HP-UX Patch Database at the same time, you can get this script customized for you, at the same time.
It will also recommend newer versions that Torsten mentioned.
