Have you patched your server on regular base? Did you retain the old patches.
Are there some files in /var/adm/sw/save ?

SolutionSecond post attempt.
If you uses the Aries emulator to run pa-risc binaries on itanium, removing this patch could cause applications to stop working.
I just added this patch to a general patch set and would like to know why they want it removed.
To give better help the following would be helpful. I will put in my good guesses where applicable:
1) model (output from command model)
2) uname -a (HP-UX 11.23 IA-64)
3) Version of Oracle
4) General patch state of the machien.
5) Oracle's reason for removal, specific symptoms and such.
There could be dependencies on this patch that make removal difficult. I think there needs to be a good reason to remove this patch.

Re: PHSS_35528 1.0 Aries cumulative patch
It depends on the version you had before.
PHSS_35528 is the most recent and the recommended version.
If you go back too far, you'll have to reboot.

Or at least get some good reasons first.
