Physical IP and relocatable IP on different subnet

Hello,
is supported the solution of using different subnets for relocatable IP and physical IP on a cluster?
The problem is the availbaility of only one IP on customer network, and thus in SG it shoul be assigned to the package.

No, you cannot put an IP on a different subnet to the physical IP of the LAN card when using Serviceguard.

You can do this if not using Serviceguard

The package control script does not have the feature to do this.

The customer_defined_run_cmds section of the package control script enables the administrator to do things the package control script does not.
If a single NIC supports multiple subnets, formulate an ifconfig command that assigns a relocatable (un-fixed) IP to a different subnet on the same NIC and use it in the add it to that section.

Conversely, when halting the package, you must ifconfig the IP off of that NIC via the customer_defined_halt_cmds.
