Pid killed due to text modification or page I/O error !!
Hi,
We are getting the "Pid killed due to text modification or page I/O error" in most of the machines. Searching for this error in internet, I could guess that most likely the problem could be due to NFS mounts on these machines. These machines are clearcase clients and VOBs are mounted on all the machines.
The only solution seems to work as of now is to reboot the machine !
Can anybody suggest something which can be tried ?
Thanks
Deependra

Re: Pid killed due to text modification or page I/O error !!
Hi,
You can check for NFS remounts. I mean you can find out if NFS mounts are working okay, if no, restart NFS client and check server side that required things are in in exported state. If required re-export NFS shares.
If it works fine, discard the error for now, reboot at later stage to see if still error is there.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Prashant
